Terri Has Died
Terri Schiavo has died just a little while ago. I knew it would be soon, but it’s still amazing that this is somewhat over. But perhaps a movement for euthanasia has begun?
I also find it sad to hear that the Schindlers were denied access to the room as she died. Come on! That really is going to far. That’s one of the worst things Micheal Schiavo could have done and he did it. Hey, what did he have to lose?
We,as bloggers, really can’t explain what’s going on in our minds and hearts, but we can tell you that we’ve tried. And though it seems that we have all lost, that is truly not the case. This situation, I’m sure, has opened the eyes of many to the fact that America is heading down a path that may lead to legal suicide and murder. These people will now take action. It’s brought hope to others like Terri, who need our help to save their life.
God has a purpose and plan for everything, though we may not see it right away, or we may not see it at all. He will use Terri’s situation for good. I don’t know the spiritual condition of Terri, but I know God can use anyone to work out his plan. Our prayer is that Terri knew the Lord, but we just don’t know. It would be so awesome to get to heaven and meet someone that you had worked to try to save their life. But we just don’t know.
As we move on this week, we must let ourselves pray for life. For our country we must pray we’ll get back on the right track. We must pray that our judges will make the right decisions.
I had planned to write about the Church today, but that will be tomorrow. If you want to find out more about Terri, and perhaps read her story, look at some of these links below:
