Lost, Confused, And Blowing Things Up

So, all I did was manually restart the computer–and it decided to do a system check and delete all of my emails, my mom’s emails, and my dad’s emails–and the address book. So, what do I need you to do?

First, download the latest Square Talk on Narnia…then fire me an email telling me that you’ve done that. In that way, I’ll have your email address, and Square Talk will be happy. And if you want to take a extra step, you can go ahead and call and leave a comment about the Narnia show, or wait awhile and call in when you know the next show’s topic, which may be on alcohol. So, call into the not so live Square Talk at 206-888-4STR.

It was somewhat humorous to recieve some comments asking where in the world was I and when would I be back to answer their questions. Well, it’s Christmas time, mind you. I have relatives over. And well…I met some people you’d be interesting in hearing about. But, I can’t post anything more about it until later tonight because I want you to see the pictures. And my dad has the pictures, not me. Small problem. I also took time to watch Narnia, which I give a hearty 5 stars and two thumbs up.

So folks, drop me an email, listen to my show, make me happy.

Ouch. I’ve had that happen before. Oh yeah, and be sure to:

Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup Backup, etc.

I would personally recommended to get a CD-RW drive (if you don’t have on already), and set up a program to backuo important file nightly. Oh, and if you can’t find one, I’m working on my onw right now, e-mail me (libertyandjustice4all AT gmail DOT com) and I’ll see if I can work something out for you.

Hic, hic, hic. I knew this would bring a flood of Windows…er…I mean…W*indo*s…jokes. Yeah, we’re getting a backup program. A pretty nice free one. It’s all fixed now.

But hey, if it makes you guys feel better, I would use nothing but Firefox.

Yeah, Tim knows that. He’s just making a point that he doesn’t use the dreaded Internet Explorer. We’ve talked about IE vs. FF for over a year now! :)

My speakers are broken… so I haven’t been able to listen to Square Talk, obviously- which is driving me absolutely crazy! Hopefully sometime soon we can replace the speakers!

Jake, how is OS X? I’m looking into a triple-boot (WinVista, MacOSX, Linux) computer when Mac comes to Intel.

Oh yeah, and use FireFox. At least until IE7 comes out. MS should get rid of all hose pesky security holes.

I love OS X. 9 was a good os, but X blows everything I’ve ever seen away. It makes using Windows XP feel like being fed baby food. Of course, I’ve used Macs all my life, so I might be a bit biased…

Ironically, IE for Mac is a very good (albeit now discontinued) browser.
